Unit Overview:
Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird is about a young girl’s experience growing up in Alabama during the 1930s. The story follows the Trial of Tom Robinson, a fictional event that was based upon the Scottsboro Boys Trials that took place during Harper Lee’s childhood.
